Afghanistan's reliable and explosive top order batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz will miss the entire Zimbabwe ODI series due to a quadriceps injury. While the ACB (Afghanistan Cricket Board) has named Mohammad Ishaq as his replacement.
"Rehmanullah Gurbaz, the strong striker of the national team, was out of the match against Zimbabwe due to a damaged muscle sprain. The doctor and physiotherapist of the team have been recommended to rest until complete treatment. It should be said that instead of Garbs, the other wicket keeper of the team will be part of the 18-man list."
"Rahmanullah Garbaz will not be a member of the team due to severe pain and muscle strain in the series of international one-day matches. According to the report of the physiotherapist and doctor of the national team, Musouf should rest until further notice, when instead of Mohammad Ishaq, the batsman and the wicket-keeper will be a member of the 18-member team." - a statement said from ACB.
