Ireland have beaten Zimbabwe by 63 runs to win the one-off Test in Bulawayo on Monday (February 10). Andy McBrine's unbeaten 90 set the tone for the Irishmen in the first innings and then Matthew Humphreys six wicket-haul helped them claim a massive victory of 63 runs.

Wessley Madhvere was the only hope of Zimbabwe coming to the day five. He too kept his calm cool and played a terrific knock, adding some more runs to his overnight score but on-fire bowler Matthew Humphreys had other plans for him, knocking his stumps top off and getting rid off Zimbabwe's final hope. Wessley Madhvere was gone to the pavilion after scoring a sensational gutsy knock of 84 off 195 deliveries.

After the departure of Madhvere, it was a formal duty remained and Matthew Humphreys cleaned up the tail superbly to hand Ireland a massive 63 runs victory.

Earlier on, Andy McBrine's unbeaten 90*-run knock helped them get to 260 on the board but Zimbabwe's fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani's hardfought 47 gave the hosts a slender 7-run lead but then Ireland bounced back on the back of fifties from Andrew Balbirnie and Lorcan Tucker and set 291 run target. Matthew Humphreys ran riot and folded Zimbabwe for a paltry 228 runs with his six-fer to claim this victory.
