The Lanka T10 Super League has officially announced the six teams for its inaugural season. According to a recent press release from the tournament authorities, the highly anticipated Player Draft will be held on November 10 in Colombo. Following the draft, the tournament will take place from December 12 to December 22, promising to showcase a mix of local and international star players in Sri Lanka’s new T10 cricket format.

Each team in the Lanka T10 Super League is required to have a minimum of 15 players, with an option to draft up to 17 players. The Players Draft is structured across 11 rounds, allowing teams to select players from different categories based on specific pay scales. Players in Category ‘A’ will earn $35,000, Category ‘B’ players will earn $20,000, and Category ‘C’ players will receive $10,000. This tiered system enables teams to secure a blend of top-tier talents and emerging players for competitive roster building.
