India Women will play a day-night Test against Australia at the WACA in Perth next March, marking the first international match at the fully redeveloped venue.
The Test, scheduled from March 6 to 9, is part of a tour that also includes three T20Is and three ODIs, starting in mid-February following the WPL. India previously played a day-night Test on the Gold Coast in 2021. The MCG, which hosted the Ashes Test this season, was not considered as an option due to ongoing work at the ground.
With the WPL now scheduled in a new window in January, Cricket Australia has had to adjust the timing of their major women’s series. As a result, the series will no longer fall within the school holiday period. However, the schedule has been carefully planned to ensure as many games as possible are held on weekends to maximize attendance and viewership.
The tour will start from the 15th of February in 2026.
