Bangladesh opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim says that he always try to something for the country thinking about match by match performance.

To avoid the whitewash, Bangladesh needed a win and pacer Mustafizur Rahman came up with his career best T20I bowling figure, where he picked up 6 wickets after giving away just 10 runs in 4 overs including a maiden. In reply, the opening duo of Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Soumya Sarkar string a hundred run partnership together to blow away USA in the third T20I. This was Bangladesh's first-ever 10-wicket win in T20Is.

Tanzid scored 58 runs from 42 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes in the match. In the post-match press conference, Tanzid said, “Actually, I always try to play well for the team. I always try to contribute to the team. I try to do this match by match. (Regarding the World Cup) I don't really think long-term. I always try to stay in the present. My focus will be on the next match.”

Tanzid also says that USA played well but they’re happy that they won the last match. Tanzid added, “Actually every win is important for every team. Credit to USA they played well and won the series. It's positive for us that we did well in the last match.”

“Everyone tries to improve every day. We don't know what the wicket, condition will be like in Dallas. We will try to adjust as we have practice sessions there.'

Tanzid was also in the team in the last ODI World Cup. He further said, “Actually, there was nothing enjoyable in the previous World Cup. There were both good and bad. I could have done better and given more to the country. I couldn't do that. I always believe that one thing that I could have learned much later which I wanted to learn but I learned it after the ODI World Cup. Which will help me in the future.”
