Prior to the 2024 Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL), all-arounders Erin Burns of Australia and Chloe Tryon of South Africa have joined the Guyana Amazon Warriors.

The South African pacer Shabnam Ismail has also been retained, so they just have one abroad spot available for the player draft later this month.

Along with Karishma Ramharack, Shemaine Campbelle, Natasha McClean, Shakera Selman, and Karishma Ramharack, Stafanie Taylor has also been retained. Taylor led the Amazon Warriors to the competition final the previous season.

In the players’ draft, the Guyana Amazon Warriors still have seven spots available.

Tryon is an aggressive middle-order batter who delivers orthodox spin with his left arm. In 98 T20I matches, she has amassed 1136 runs and taken 35 wickets. Burns is a middle-order hitter as well, however he bowls off break and is more deliberate. Both all-rounders have played for teams all over the world.

Tryon has previously represented the Sydney Sixers in the Women's Big Bash League, the Mumbai Indians in the Women's Premier League, the Barbados Royals in the Women's Hundred, and a few more clubs in the Women's Premier League. Burns has played for a number of teams, including Birmingham Phoenix, Manchester Originals, Hobart Hurricanes, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
