South Africa have crushed Zimbabwe by an innings and 120 runs in just two days of the inaugural four-day Test at St. George's Park, Port Elizabeth. Four-day Test ends in two days

Zimbabwe made 30/4 on day one in reply to South Africa's 309/9. The second day resumed with the wickets of Ryan Burl (16) and Sikandar Raza (0) that earned Morne Morkel his seventh five-wicket haul in an innings. Zimbabwe were bowled out for 68 runs in 30.1 overs. It's their fifth-lowest total in Tests. Nightwatchman Kyle Jarvis top-scored this innings with 23 runs off 50 balls with 3 fours. Hamilton Masakadza, Brendan Taylor, Sikandar Raza and Chris Mpofu scored ducks in the innings. Morkel took 5 wickets for 21. Kagiso Rabada and Andile Phehlukwayo picked two wickets each. Vernon Philander got one. Zimbabwe were enforced to follow-on as they trailed by 241 runs. The visitors had Masakadza retired hurt early in the second innings. The first wicket fell at 54. Chamu Chibhabha made 15 while Craig Ervine top-scored with 23. Zimbabwe collapsed again. This time left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj caused majority of the problems for them. In the end, they were bundled out for 121 runs in 42.3 overs before the dinner break. Skipper Graeme Cremer was left stranded for 18. Maharaj didn't bowl in the first innings but took his third five-for in thr second innings. He scalped 5 for 59 in 17.3 overs. Phehlukwayo took three for 13. Philander and Rabada took one each. Morkel remained wicket-less. The Proteas gained their second-biggest win over Zimbabwe in terms of innings. This is the 20th time in history a Test match has ended in two days and first since 2005. Zimbabwe have been on the losing side three times.
