Durbar Rajshahi, a team in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025, announced on Thursday that they had paid their local players 75% of what they had agreed to. This is a good thing to do. According to the Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) rules, teams must pay players 50% of their total fees before the tournament, 25% of their fees during the tournament, and the last 25% of their fees after the tournament is over. This payment was the third amount.

The company promised that the last payment would be made by March 8, which is when the BCB said it would be. Durbar Rajshahi thanked their players for their patience and support in a statement that emphasized their resolve to meeting their contractual responsibilities.

Given that BPL payment delays have been a source of concern in previous years, this is a significant move. The fact that numerous corporations have had problems sticking to the payment arrangement has left gamers disgruntled. It is worth noting that many Durbar Rajshahi players skipped training since their paychecks were late.

The Bangladesh Premier League 2025 season began on December 30 with the competitive team- Fortune Barishal, Khulna Tigers, Sylhet Strikers, Dhaka Capitals, Rangpur Riders, and Chittagong Kings. In the end, Barishal won the trophy beating Chittagong in the final.
