Bangladesh and Sri Lanka meet in the second Test in Chattogram. Sri Lanka became a team of 10 on the fourth day. Dinesh Chandimal withdrew his name midway through the Test. 

It is known that Dinesh Chandimal has taken his name off the list for family reasons. He'll be back home as soon as possible. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board, Chandimal's teammates, and the coaches are all behind him during this tough time.

Sri Lanka Cricket, his teammates and coaching staff are giving him full support in such a situation. The right-hander is asking the public to respect the privacy of the batter himself and his family.

Sri Lanka are batting in the second innings in the ongoing Test. However, Dinesh Chandimal batted in both innings. He was the victim of Shakib Al Hasan after making fifty in the first innings. He scored 59 runs off 104 balls. He could not do much in the second innings. Pacer Hasan Mahmud dismissed him. He scored 9 runs off 7 balls. 

Sri Lanka put up a big first innings total in the second Test. They scored total of  531 runs on the scoreboard. Bangladesh again showed a display of batting failure and were all out for just 178 runs. Sri Lanka are batting in the second innings without enforcing Bangladesh the follow on.
