The ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025 will be held in Bangladesh after the Bangladesh Women's Cricket Team beat the West Indies in terms of net run rate.  It was a thrilling end to the qualifying round.   Even though the Tigresses lost two games in a row near the end, they kept their cool and made it to the big world event.

During the selection process, there were many ups and downs.   Bangladesh had a great start in the qualifying games.  They are now comfortably in first place after winning their first three games.   But when they lost to West Indies, there was a new race for spots. And when they lost to Pakistan in the last game, they had to wait for other teams to lose before they could move on.

West Indies were having a tough time scoring 167 runs against Thailand, and they just barely missed getting the net run rate they needed.   Bangladesh was better off because of that small difference.

The women of Bangladesh have now won their spot in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025, which will be held in India.   Pakistan had already earned a spot in the event earlier in the game.

A press release from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said that president Faruque Ahmed was very proud of the team's hard work and victory. I would also like to sincerely thank the coaching staff and team management for their tireless efforts behind the scenes,” he said.

We will provide all necessary support to ensure that you go into the tournament in the best possible shape. We believe in your talent and potential to make the nation proud on the world stage."
