The country's cricket community is disappointed with the failure of the Bangladesh team in the ODI World Cup. While the fans are waiting for the revolution to forget that disappointment, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has to be busy with the autopsy of the failure. For this, the board has constituted an investigation committee. 

In a press release on Wednesday (November 29), the Bangladesh Cricket Board confirmed the formation of the investigation committee. There are 3 influential board directors Enayet Hossain Siraj, Mahbubul Anam and Akram Khan in this 3-member committee. Among them, Enayet Hossain Siraj is the convenor and Mahbubul Anam and Akram Khan are members of the investigation committee.

The Bangladesh team went to play in the World Cup with great hopes. But that hope has been dashed. After starting the season with a resounding win against Afghanistan, the Tigers were cornered by 6 miserable defeats one after another. In the end, they got another win against Sri Lanka but were sent off with another miserable loss to the world champions Australia.

At one stage there was concern about qualifying for the ICC Champions Trophy. In the end, however, the Tigers managed to make it to the top eight. However, this performance was not satisfying at all. So after the World Cup, BCB has gone to the post-mortem of failure.
