BCB announces squad for ACC Emerging Women’s Asia Cup 2023

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), the country's cricket governing body, has announced Bangladesh's squad for the ACC Emerging Women's Asia Cup organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The announced squad is led by regular national team all-rounder Lata Mondol.
Apart from Lata, there are several national team members in the team. Sobhana Mostary is the vice-captain. The Emerging Women’s Asia Cup 2023 will start in Hong Kong on June 10. For this reason, the women will travel from Dhaka to Hong Kong on June 10.
Bangladesh were pitted in Group B alongside Sri Lanka A, UAE, and Malaysia, while India A, Pakistan A, Thailand A, and the hosts will face each other in Group A. The Tigresses will take on Malaysia in their opening fixture on June 12 at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.
Lata and her troops will face Sri Lanka A on June 14 and then lock horns with the UAE on June 16.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals scheduled on June 19, while the final of the tournament will take place on June 21.
