Bangladesh U-16 team have completed a successful tour in India. Bangladesh U-16 team defeated Mumbai U-16 team by a huge margin of 138 runs in the third and last match of the series and completed the whitewash too.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. Two openers- Zawad Abrar and Md Azizul Hakim Tamim started cautiously. The team's opening pair was broken at 23 runs. Tamim got out after playing an innings of 9 runs off 21 balls. Kalam Siddiki Aleen then joined Zawad. Zawad and Kalam added 55 runs for the second wicket. Zawad was dismissed even by raising the possibility of fifty. He got out after playing an innings of 43 runs from 55 balls in the team's 78 runs.

Bangladesh quickly lost 2 more wickets after Zawad's dismissal. Later, Debasish Sarkar Deba fought alone. He was quite aggressive with the bat. And Bangladesh's innings gained momentum due to his fierce batting.

He got a fifty. Bangladesh crossed 250 with his excellent batting. Finally, Deba played a devastating innings of 83 runs off just 59 balls. At the end of the scheduled 50 overs, Bangladesh scored 269 runs after losing all the wickets. Aadesh and Himanshu Singh took 2 wickets each for Mumbai.

Mumbai's batters started to respond at a tortoise pace from the start. 38 runs came from the opening pair. Raza Mirza was injured and left the field. He did not bat after that. Captain Abhinab Saha was dismissed at the team’s 52 runs. Abhinab returned after playing a 75-ball 20-run innings.

The rest of the batters were more or less the same. Everyone played a slow innings and threw wickets. Aryan Sakpal seemed to be a bit fluent but he too failed to play big innings. Aryan scored 26 runs off 44 balls.

Due to the batting woes of the rest, it never seemed that Mumbai could win this match. In front of the Bangladeshi bowlers, Mumbai's batters were completely shattered. As a result, they lost wickets at regular intervals and were knocked out of the match. Mumbai managed to score 131 runs after losing 8 wickets after the scheduled 50 overs. The team could not even get half of the runs scored by Bangladesh. Bangladesh won the match by a big margin of 138 runs.

Deba took 3 wickets for Bangladesh. Besides, Shaikh Imtiaz Shihab, Kayes Rahman Labib, Zawad and Ahsan Al Mumin took 1 wicket each.

As a result of this victory, Bangladesh U-16 team whitewashed Mumbai by winning the ODI series by 3-0. Earlier, Bangladesh won the three-day series by 1-0. The Junior Tigers remained undefeated in the entire series.
