Bangladesh squad announced for ICRC Int’l T20 Tournament

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has declared a 15-man BCB Physically Challenged Cricket Team ahead of the ICRC International T20 Cricket Tournament for the People with Physical Disabilities which begins on Wednesday, 02 September 2015. Bangladesh Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina will be expected to inaugurate the tournament.
The first aim of the tournament is the social inclusion of the people with physical disabilities through the sports participation. Besides the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the other big organizing partners are: Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS), Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP), and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The opening match between Bangladesh and England will be placed at the Mirpur Sher-e Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS). This match is open for everyone. The rest of matches and the prize giving ceremony of the tournament from 03-10 September will be held at the BKSP, Savar.
The BCB Physically Challenged Cricket Team, representing Bangladesh, will play against England, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India in the T20 tournament.
