A massive 41 male players, up from 29 before, have been upgraded to central contracts by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).

Although they have seen limited action for the national team, newcomers Shevon Daniel, Dushan Hemantha, Nuwanidu Fernando, and Sahan Arachchige have all earned deals thanks to the increased contract list.

There have been a total of 18 new players added, with six players let go, including Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Danushka Gunathilaka, who haven't played for the national side in more than a year. The remaining four individuals that did not receive contracts from the most recent round in 2022 are Lahiru Thirimanne, Nuwan Pradeep, Minod Bhanuka, and Lakshan Sandakan.
