This series is not only crucial for their T20 team but also marks the final series of the year for the West Indies national team. While West Indies managed to secure series wins against England and South Africa, they faced defeats to Australia, India, and Sri Lanka. A win against Bangladesh would help reduce the impact of their earlier losses, making this series even more important. Captain Rovman Powell is keen on ensuring his team performs well in this crucial series.

"The year’s final series, this one is very important. Our T20 campaign this year has had mixed reactions. We’ve won some series, but we’ve also lost the last few. This Bangladesh series gives us the opportunity to finish the year on a high," said Powell.

The first match of the series is set to take place on December 15 local time, which will be the early morning of December 16 in Bangladesh. All three T20 matches of the series will be held in Kingston. However, Powell has noted that the pitch conditions in Kingston are quite different from those encountered during the T20 World Cup.

"We trained last night, and it went very well. The pitch seems completely different from the World Cup. If the wicket is good, the game will be good. We hope the fans will come and support us," said Powell, echoing sentiments similar to those expressed by Litton Das about the pitch.
