One may question the ICC's contribution to cricket's globalization. However, since franchise cricket has emerged, the nation has been experiencing franchise cricket thanks to the lesser-known cricket stars. IPL teams also play a significant part in it.
After this, Shahrukh Khan's Knight Riders Group club, the Los Angeles Knight Riders, will play Major League Cricket (MLC) in the United States. Los Angeles' squad is organized similarly to the Indian Premier League squad. Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will play for the team in the upcoming season, which is scheduled to start from July 5.
Shakib’s family lives in USA. So, Shakib is excited to play in his “second home.” Before leaving the country to play for this team in Major League Cricket (MLC), Shakib said, “Of course it feels good. Which always feels like a second home to me. Everyone is like own person, known. Everyone from the coaching staff. Naturally a different kind of excitement works. I hope to perform with my best.”
Apart from Shakib, Los Angeles Knight Riders have cricketers like Alex Carey, Jason Roy, David Miller, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Adam Zampa. Their team will play the first match on July 6 at 6:30 am Bangladesh time.
