Pakistan fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani has been ruled out of the remainder of the Shaheens' tour of Darwin due to a back injury.
The 25-year-old, who impressed by taking four wickets in the first four-day match against Bangladesh A, will miss the second four-day match starting on Friday as well as the white-ball segment of the tour. This includes two one-day games and the Top End T20 Series.
Dahani will return to Pakistan immediately for further assessment by the PCB medical panel. He will then begin a rehabilitation program to address the back injury.
Spin-bowling all-rounder Mubasir Khan has been named as Dahani's replacement in the white-ball squad.
In a positive development for the Shaheens, Right-Arm Fast bowler Khurram Shahzad will now be available for selection in the two one-day matches against the Northern Territory Strike and Bangladesh A. Shahzad was initially scheduled to return home after the four-day series
