Nafees Iqbal gives update about his health condition

Former national team opener and the national team's logistics manager, Nafees Iqbal, is recovering well from a brain stroke he had a week ago.
Nafees himself shares his health condition on Facebook on Sunday (July 14). “Progression…Alhamdulillah,” he wrote on Facebook. A couple of days ago, he also gave update about his health, “By the grace of Allah and with the immense support, care and the prayers of all my love ones, I am recovering well… Alhumdulillah.”
Nafees suffered a stroke while staying in his hometown Chattogram on last Friday morning. After that, he was brought to Dhaka by air ambulance as soon as possible. He has been receiving treatment at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital.
Debashis Chowdhury, the chief physician for the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), informed the media about his overall situation that day, “(Nafees) is stable. In these cases, he should be kept under observation on the first day. He must stay in the HDO unit tonight. Tomorrow, if the condition is better, he will be shifted to the ward. I think he will be kept under observation for several weeks.”
Nafees Iqbal played 11 Tests and 16 ODIs for Bangladesh. He hit 4 fifties and one century in international cricket. Besides, he played 120 first class matches, 112 list A matches and 6 recognized T20 matches. He scored 6202 runs, 2754 runs and 56 runs, respectively. He has a total of 12 centuries, 52 fifties in professional career.
