Former India captain MS Dhoni has been soaked in respect and love since his retirement from international cricket. Implausible offer to keep Dhoni's contribution memorable

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has received a fancy proposal to commemorate his outstanding contribution to Indian cricket. One member has proposed to name a seat at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai after Dhoni. There are historical reasons to suggest so. India won the World Cup in 2011 under the leadership of Dhoni in this Wankhede. Dhoni overcame India's 28-year-old grief by defeating Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final. His six off Nuwan Kulasekara in the 49th over brought India to the World Cup. Ajinkya Naik, a member of the organization, has made a written proposal to name the seat where the ball landed after the six.

“As an act of gratitude and tribute to Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s immense contribution to Indian cricket, the MCA can devote a permanent seat on his name at the stand where his famous World Cup-winning six had landed,”

read Ajinkya Naik’s letter, according to the report. “We can find out the area where the ball landed – and which seat it was flying to – after Dhoni smashed it to win the 2011 World Cup,” the letter further stated.
