I tried to bowl wicket-to-wicket and tried to hold my line and length: Sakib

Bangladesh never won an ODI win on New Zealand soil before. Chances came several times but missed them. However, this time Bangladesh did not miss the opportunity. Bowling first in the third ODI, they bowled New Zealand out for 98 runs on their own soil.
Sakib became the hero of the first victory on New Zealand soil. He took 3 wickets for 14 runs in 7 overs. How did this pacer succeed? At the end of the match, he said - his main goal was to keep the line and length right.
“Really happy. How I started, it was really good. I really enjoyed bowling there. The ball was nipping, the ball was swinging. It helped the team and set the tone for the team. I tried to bowl wicket-to-wicket and tried to hold my line and length,” Sakib said.
Sakib could not do well when he got a chance in Nelson. He was basically right about the line-length. Most importantly, Sakib knew what he did wrong in the previous match. Correcting that in the third ODI was a challenge for him.
“The wicket really helped me. Was really good for pace bowlers. Last match, I bowled here and there. I had to keep it tight, that's what I did today,” Sakib added.
