The Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team has wrapped up a successful tour of Sri Lanka, securing a 3-2 series win in the six-match Youth ODI series. Despite a rain-affected final game, the young Tigers emerged victorious after a string of strong performances earlier in the series.

Bangladesh lost the opening match of the series but then won three games in a row to take a 3-1 lead. Although they stumbled in the fifth ODI, Sri Lanka’s comeback wasn’t enough to turn the series.

Heading into the sixth and final game with a 3-2 advantage, the junior Tigers needed only to avoid defeat. Unfortunately for fans, persistent rain washed out the series decider. As a result, the match was declared abandoned, and eventually Bangladesh won the series.
