Legends League Cricket (LLC) is a cricket tournament featuring retired international cricketers. Known for its thrilling matches and high viewership, the intriguing league has captivated massive audience of 180 million across India during the last season's 19 matches.

This year's tournament promises to be even more exciting, thrilling and enchanting, with the participation of some of the most iconic players from around the world. LLC 2024 is expected to offer a unique opportunity for fans to relive the glory days of cricket as their favorite legends amongst themselves.

The tournament is expected to showcase the skills and experience of the retired players. Recently, the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik joined the LLC tournament and the duo will be looking forward to adding spice to the league with their batting exploits.

The league is set to begin on September 20 at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur. A total of six teams will participate in 25 matches, with the final between the top two teams scheduled for October 16.

1. Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan is known for his aggressive batting style and he likes to hit the ball hard from the word go and can score quickly as well. He is a great player of spin bowling and can be a dangerous opponent for any team.

He likes to start with a flurry of sixes and fours before setting the tone for the innings. His biggest strength lies in his potential to hit the ball hard and square up to spinners. The former PBKS player scored 6769 runs in IPL including 2 centuries and 51 fifties. 

2. Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik's approach in the shortest format is kind of more calculated. He often comes in to bat in the middle overs and plays pivotal role in stabilizing the innings. He is known for his finishing abilities, smashing maximums towards the end of the innings to secure victories.

He is known for his ability to score runs at a rate of knots and give the opposition bowlers a run for their money. RCB immensely benefitted from his services as a wicketkeeper-batsman. After retiring from IPL, he joined LLC where he will be captaining Southern Super Stars during LLC season 3.

3. Suresh Raina

Suresh Raina didn't have the best of starts in the previous edition of the LLC. The CSK legend is known for his ability to play a fearless brand of cricket. He is someone who plays according to the situation where he maintains cautious approach if the team needs to rebuild the innings.

While he loves to take on the pacers, he is also particularly effective against spin bowling, using his footwork and timing to score runs. Urbanisers Hyderabad retained him ahead of the 2024 season and he will be leading the team from the front.
