Nkrumah Bonner and Joshua Da Silva have put West Indies slightly ahead of Bangladesh at the end of day one in the second Test at Mirpur.

Bonner will be eyeing a maiden hundred on day two. The right-hander is unbeaten on 74 runs from 173 balls, striking six boundaries. Da Silva (22*) stuck around with Bonner to ensure the tourists do not lose any further wicket in the final session.
Earlier in the day, West Indies were off to a healthy start after opting to bat first. Skipper Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell played solid during a 66-run partnership. Campbell was aggressive against Bangladeshi spinners, as he made 36 off 68 with a six and five fours.
