Jasprit Bumrah produced a stunning delivery to remove Australian batter Travis Head for a duck in the ongoing fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Bumrah's crucial wicket came during the 67th over of Australia's first innings when the fast bowler returned to the attack after Marnus Labuschagne's dismissal.

Bumrah's delivery, which pitched just outside off stump and jagged back in sharply, left Head completely misjudging the line. Expecting the ball to go over the stumps, the Australian batter shouldered arms, only to watch in shock as the ball crashed into his off-stump, sending him back to the pavilion after facing just seven deliveries.

Bumrah’s decision to go around the wicket and bowl a good-length ball worked wonders, as it sharply cut back into the batter after pitching, bamboozling Head.

Bumrah struck again just 15 balls later, dismissing Mitchell Marsh as Australia crumbled under his relentless pace. From a comfortable 237/2, the Aussies quickly collapsed to 246/5, with Bumrah at the center of the damage.

Earlier, Australia's opening pair gave a solid start to the innings. Young debutant Sam Konstas impressed with a quickfire 60 off 65 balls, and his opening partner, Usman Khawaja, also contributed 57 runs, his first fifty of the series. However, after Bumrah's two-wicket burst, the momentum shifted in India's favor.
