India pacer Akash Deep delivered a crucial breakthrough in New Zealand's second innings on Day 2 of the third Test at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The right-arm fast bowler made an immediate impact with the new ball, dismissing New Zealand captain Tom Latham for just one run in the very first over of their innings.

Bowling with precision, Akash trapped Latham in front of the stumps with a sharp delivery, but the decision was overturned by the third umpire due to an inside edge.
