They’re going to have an emotional letdown: Ian Healy warns India
Healy suggested in an interview with SEN radio that India are putting an excessive amount of effort into the World Cup and may be doing so to the point of exhaustion. India has started off this year's World Cup undefeated, winning all four of their initial matches.

Even though they have gotten off to a great start in the 2023 World Cup, beating Australia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, former Australian wicket-keeper Ian Healy has offered a warning to Team India, urging them to avoid reaching an emotional high too soon.
Healy suggested in an interview with SEN radio that India are putting an excessive amount of effort into the World Cup and may be doing so to the point of exhaustion. India has started off this year's World Cup undefeated, winning all four of their initial matches.
“They’re not rolling easily, I’ve got a new fear for India. Kohli’s was a good knock, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill were good at the top too. But if you see the energy that’s going into it (their wins), my fear is that they’re going to have an emotional letdown. They’re putting a whole lot of energy into it, they might just be overdoing it,” said Healy.
He went on to remark that he is concerned that India may be going too far, despite the fact that he believes they have a good squad, but he insisted that they are. India is one of just two teams left in the 2023 World Cup that has yet to suffer their first loss.
“The intensity, the gestures in the field when someone bowls a bad ball, the over-enthusiasm of good fielding efforts, all that sort of stuff. The crowd were going off at Pune, and it’s a beautiful-looking ground. But I just worry for that (overdoing it), but gee they’ve got a great team,” Healy added.
