The way Hasan is bowling now is world-class: Tamim

Bangladesh won the last match of the Ireland series by 5 runs. Bangladesh had the last laugh in the dramatic match. Pacer Hasan Mahmud caught attention separately in death bowling.
Not just in the last match, Hasan has been very consistent for the last few series. Be it T20 or ODI, Hasan played with his best whenever he got a chance. With the new ball and in the death overs, he puts the batters in discomfort. He also gives the team breakthrough wicket by bringing wickets at important times. Captain Tamim Iqbal praised Hasan after the series against the Irish.
In the post-match press conference, Tamim said, “The way he (Hasan) is bowling now is world-class. He was especially great with the new ball. He’s doing well in death overs too. He is a very young cricketer. But there is a lot of old heat in him. He is very calm in stressful moments. It is also a good education for him. You can do a thousand balls in practice but performing in such a stressful moment is something else. He will definitely learn a lot from here.”
In the last match of the series, Rony Talukdar and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury made their debuts for Bangladesh. Such a change in the last match is not seen much in Bangladesh. However, changes are coming there as well.
Tamim added, “In big tournaments, your important cricketers may get injured. If the bench cricketers don't get a chance to play matches then it will be very difficult for them to perform as per expectations. So we have to give them a chance to play some matches. Today two cricketers made their debut. They did what they could today. It was good to check the strength of the bench. It's true that we don't do it much, but now we're changing that.”
