The ICC announces official schedule of Champions Trophy 2025
Pakistan will take on New Zealand on the tournament opener on February 19 in Karachi.

The ICC (International Cricket Council) has officially announced the schedule of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan will take on New Zealand on the tournament opener on February 19 in Karachi.
Eight teams will feature 15 matches and the tournament will be played in Pakistan and Dubai. In Pakistan, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi will be the three venues to host the tournament. While Dubai will be the other venue only for India matches.
The three group games of India, including the first semi-final will be played in Dubai. While the second semi-final is set to be played in Lahore.
The Karachi will host the tournament final on March 9, unless India qualify for the final. But in case India qualify then the final will be played in Dubai. The semi-finals and final have reserve days.
The Dubai part commences the following day with India taking on their neighbouring country Bangladesh.
Group A of the tournament features defending Champions Trophy holders and hosts Pakistan, along with their arch-rivals India, New Zealand and Bangladesh.
while Group B consists of ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 champions Australia, alongside their arch-rivals England, Afghanistan and South Africa.

- 25 February, Australia v South Africa, Rawalpindi, Pakistan
- 26 February, Afghanistan v England, Lahore, Pakistan
- 27 February, Pakistan v Bangladesh, Rawalpindi, Pakistan
- 28 February, Afghanistan v Australia, Lahore, Pakistan
- 1 March, South Africa v England, Karachi, Pakistan
- 2 March, New Zealand v India, Dubai
- 4 March, Semi-final 1, Dubai
- 5 March, Semi-final 2, Lahore, Pakistan
- 9 March, Final, Lahore (unless India qualify, when it will be played in Dubai)
- 10 March, Reserve day
