All-rounder Washington Sundar is not thinking about taking Ravindra Jadeja's place in the India team; instead, he is focused on providing his all for the team.
Jadeja retired after winning the T20 World Cup. So, an all-rounder place is vacant in the team and Sundar is in contention to fill that place.
Sundar has been performing well in the ongoing Zimbabwe series. In the first T20I, Sundar's batting kept India in the game despite their shocking loss, and in the third, with 3/15, he was named player of the match.
"I need to do well where I am good at and what I am capable of, especially with my preparation. I need to give my 100 per cent every single day. That's something that I have not compromised on," Sundar said in the post-match press.
“I've always been giving 100 per cent every season, every single practice session, and obviously in games as well. It keeps me just in the present and obviously it's very important to be in the present and just put up those good performances regularly."
Meanwhile, On Wednesday, July 10 at the Harare Sports Club in Harare, India defeated Zimbabwe by 23 runs to complete a convincing victory in the third T20 International.
