Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani thinks his team is still in the Sylhet Test, even though they are behind in the second innings.  At the end of day 3, Bangladesh were ahead by 112 runs, so the match is still very close.

Bangladesh finished the third day with 194 for 4 after a day of rain. Najmul Hossain Shanto was still unbeaten on 60 off 103 balls, and Jaker Ali Anik was staying strong on 21 off 60 balls.  They worked very hard, and Muzarabani was the best of them. He bowled quickly and accurately, getting 3 wickets for 51 runs.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Muzarabani opened up about his strategy — using short-pitched deliveries to test Bangladeshi batters. “I feel like that's my strength, actually, just to go that hard line on the body. I don't think Bangladesh struggle with the short ball, but I just feel like for me, with my skill, I feel like that's my number one skill,” he said.

The tall seamer, known for extracting bounce from even the flattest of tracks, said discipline and patience will be key going forward. The Zimbabwe camp will be disappointed after dropping a catch of Shanto, who has now put Bangladesh in a commanding position. Muzarabani, however, took it in stride, “Yes, he's really playing well right now. But in cricket, sometimes mistakes happen, but we're looking forward to tomorrow. It's a new day, and hopefully we're going to start up in a good position,” he added.

When asked if a team like Zimbabwe deserve more regular fixtures in the ICC World Test Championship or general Test cricket exposure, Muzarabani was clear, “Yes, definitely. I feel like we need to play a lot of those games, but also we have to play well and just perform more. I'm sure I see we're going to start giving those games. We're not really looking forward to... We have a lot of Test games coming up, so we're looking forward to those games and trying and perform really well. We're going to start looking at opportunities and everything.”
