The Pakistan national cricket team has arrived in New Zealand for an exciting series of five T20Is and three ODI matches, set to take place between March 16 and April 5, 2025. Both teams will look to bounce back after their performances in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. The T20I series will mark the first international fixtures for both sides since the tournament’s conclusion.

Pakistan's T20I squad has undergone significant changes following a poor ODI tournament. Mohammad Rizwan is no longer the T20I captain, with Salman Ali Agha taking over the reins. Additionally in a surprising move both Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been left out of the T20I squad as Pakistan looks to rebuild in the shortest format. Michael Bracewell has been named the captain of the New Zealand national cricket team for the T20I series.
