Pakistan pace spearhead Shaheen Afridi becomes the No. 1 ODI bowler
Shaheen Afridi has regained his place as the top bowler in 50-over cricket on the back of some excellent bowling during Pakistan's recent historic series triumph over Australia. He took eight wickets across three matches at a jaw dropping average of only 12.62.

Pakistan's ace pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has dethroned Keshav Maharaj to become the No. 1 ranked bowler in ODI Cricket. While England and Sri Lanka's white-ball players also had boost up on the T20I lists.
Shaheen Afridi has regained his place as the top bowler in 50-over cricket on the back of some excellent bowling during Pakistan's recent historic series triumph over Australia. He took eight wickets across three matches at a jaw dropping average of only 12.62.
Afridi moved up to three places and has claimed the premier position from the Protea spinner Keshav Maharaj who were dropped down two spots to third, while Afghanistan's star spinner Rashid Khan remains in second position.
Another Pakistan paceman Haris Rauf has improved to 14 places to 13th overall and has reached a new career-high rating, on the back of his 10 wickets and Player of the Series against Australia.
Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto has upped to 11 places to equal 23rd in the ODI batting rankings. Afghanistan veteran all-rounder Mohammad Nabi remains on the top of the list for ODI all-rounders, Mehidy Hasan Miraz ranks at fourth and Azmatullah Omarzai at ninth.
Sri Lanka's spinning wizard Wanindu Hasaranga is the big mover on the updated rankings for T20I bowlers as he moves up to the four spots to second, only behind No.1 ranked bowler Adil Rashid. England's Liam Livingstone remains out in front of the rankings for T20I all-rounders. Phil Salt stands second, and Jos Buttler on sixth in recent ICC Men's T20I batting rankings.
