Pakistan men's cricketers to receive historic central contracts
PCB will now pay 3% share of revenue received from ICC to the cricketers. And the Pakistani cricketers have agreed to that.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the players of the Pakistan men's team have come to a historic agreement on central contracts, putting an end to several months of impasse and uncertainty. The cricketers have agreed to a central contract with the board mediated by former cricketer and current chief selector Imzamam-ul-Haq, with all formalities to be completed within a day or two.
Zaka Ashraf is now in charge of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief. Inzamam was tasked by Zaka to resolve the contractual complications of the cricketers. The demand of the cricketers was that they should be given a share of the board's dividend. On the other hand, these things do not work in Pakistan cricket. As a result, the Pakistani cricketers were not getting their salary allowances and match fees for the last four months. Finally, the problem is solved. PCB will now pay 3% share of revenue received from ICC to the cricketers. And the Pakistani cricketers have agreed to that.
3% share of revenue is about USD 1 million. PCB will get USD 34 million per year from next year as a share of ICC revenue. Henceforth 3% will be paid to the cricketers in addition to their monthly allowance and match fee.
The new contract has been decided for 3 years. It will be updated every year. However, the structure and structure of the agreement will remain unchanged until 2026.
According to the proposed new contract, cricketers are divided into four categories.
Category A: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi
Category B: Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan
Category C: Imad Wasim and Abdullah Shafique
Category D: Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Ihsanullah, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Saim Ayub, Agha Salman, Sarfaraz Ahmad, Saud Shakeel, Shahnawaz Dahani, Shan Masood, Usama Mir and Zaman Khan
