In a groundbreaking moment for Bangladesh cricket, national women’s team captain Nigar Sultana Joty became the first Bangladeshi female cricketer to score a century in first-class cricket. Her unbeaten 153 runs in the inaugural round of the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) steered the Central Zone to a commanding position against the North Zone in Rajshahi.
