Hobart Hurricanes have extended their contracts with their skipper Nathan Ellis and batter Ben Mcdermott until BBL|17.
Nathan Ellis has been a sensational prodigy for the Hurricanes and so is Ben Mcdermott. The duo played for this club since their debut in this T20 league.
“I feel immense pride in representing Tasmania, this state and this club have changed my life, and I’m really excited at the prospect of repaying the faith over the next few years.
"It’s been a great season thus far, and I’m excited to see where this group can go in the coming seasons,” said Ellis.
“It was a no-brainer for me to extend my time with the Hurricanes, especially after the cricket that we have played this year and the direction we are headed.
“I am so excited to be a part of this group for another three BBL campaigns, and I feel as though we are really building something special in this group,” said McDermott.
Hobart Hurricanes are the current table toppers of the BBL|14 leaderboard after winning 7 matches out of 9.
