Last year
Cricket Team toured Bangladesh despite of security issues. But the England ODI captain, Eoin Morgan did not travel with the team Bangladesh as he was very much concerned about the security.
Although England had won the ODI series by 2-1 in absence of Morgan, they had to share the test trophy with Bangladesh after a 1-1 result.
Many current and former cricketers criticized Morgan for such decision on that time and former England cricketer Nasser Hussain who is currently better known as a commentator was also one of them.
Nasser Hussain thinks Eoin Morgan should have led by example and captained England in Bangladesh. So recently in a interview with Morgan, he did not forgot to bring the issue. Nasser asked Morgan why he did not travel Bangladesh when his team needed him the most.
But Morgan beeing diplomatic said, had he toured Bangladesh with security concerns, he would have been doing the side a disservice.
Follow google news channel to get news of BDCricTime."It was very simple. I felt that touring Bangladesh, with its security risk and the level of protection we needed, didn't allow me to go out and perform at my best as an international cricketer. Before I'd even stepped on the plane, I felt I wasn't able to go and do my job, so if I had of gone I would have been doing the side a disservice,"
Morgan told.
As currently no country is hundred percent safe from terror attack, Nasser Hossain further questioned Morfan that what's the difference between Dhaka and London.
The reply from the England ODI captain was also interesting, "
It's a very good question. Although, I don't travel around London with 15 army cars, two helicopters, three snipers and an ambulance."
