Today (January 6) Miraz told the media in Mirpur, “We are bringing this first manufacturing bat company in Bangladesh. I would first like to thank Imrul Kayes bhai, the founder of this, he was thinking for a long time about how to start a bat company in Bangladesh. With him, we have another partner, Shahin Bhai, who is also a familiar face. Another one is Azad Bhai, lives in the UK.
“As I am playing cricket I don't get much time, these three are doing a lot. My role was very small. We don't have our own company in Bangladesh, sponsored from outside. I think it is a big thing for our country. The thought was to start with U19. Since going to the World Cup it was already our goal. The three of them all quickly arranged how to give. As they are going to play the World Cup. Asia Cup champion. They will play with their country's company (bat). It looks good to me. They must also have something to like.”
Miraz added, “First we have a one-year contract with them. We will give 4 bats, 6 pairs of gloves, 2 pads. We will give them (extra) later. We will try our best according to their requirements.”
In the future, Miraz has expressed its desire to sponsor women's teams and national teams as well.
