Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Salahuddin has sparked discussion by sending legal notices against some media workers for criticizing. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon opened his mouth in response to the media's questions about this. He claimed that there is no question of legal notice or litigation for the criticisms leveled against him as the president of the cricket board.
Papon said, “Most of the discussions about me are worse. Especially on social media. I never react.”
The BCB president rather tries to correct himself from criticism whenever he has an opportunity. He does not feel the need to worry about unnecessary criticism. He added, “I have to proceed according to a plan, many will like it and many will not. It's not always right, I could be wrong. But for us, it's a warning and we do double-check. I don't see any reason to worry about it.”
The BCB president is finding it difficult to accept the fact that the media has come under fire from a sports organization due to the publication of the news. Highlighting the contribution of the media in cricket, he further said, “There are many things that may not be good. Many issues help us improve. There is no question of thinking about these things. There is no question of suing. Media is a big partner of Bangladesh cricket. Media has contributed to the position of Bangladesh cricket. Of course the players first, then the media.”
