Rabeya got nominated by taking 3 wickets at the cost of 29 runs in the Super Over match against Pakistan.

Towhid Hridoy was nominated for the debutant cricketer of the year in men's cricket. Along with him on the list were Yashasvi Jaiswal, Gerald Coetzee, Rinku Singh, and Todd Murphy. However, Proteas cricketer Coetzee finally won the title after defeating everyone. In all, 5 Bangladeshi cricketers were nominated for the ESPNcricinfo annual award, but only Marufa Akter won the award.
