India have won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh in the third and last of the T20I series at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday (October 12).

India make just one change to their side despite clinching the series already. Spinner Ravi Bishnoi comes in for pacer Arshdeep Singh.

On the other hand, Bangladesh made two changes with opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim and all-rounder Mahedi Hasan coming into the playing XI in replace of batter Jaker Ali Anik and all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz. It is Bangladesh veteran Mahmudullah Riyad’s last T20I match of his career as he announced before the second T20I of the series.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav said: “We would like to bat first, looks a good wicket. These are the things we want to do. Set a target and defend the total with dew around. I think it's important to continue with the good habits, it will have a good impact on us. We just want to give freedom, the guys want to make an impact. Happy with the way the guys are playing. Arshdeep misses out, Bishnoi comes in.”

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto said: “I am happy to bowl first, toss doesn't matter. We have two changes. Tamim and Mahedi are in. We need to take responsibilities as batters. We need to improve, need to execute our plans. Hopefully we do something special in the 40 overs.”

India have already clinched the series winning the first two T20Is.  In the first T20I, India crashed Bangladesh by 7 wickets on Sunday (October 6) in Gwalior. Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy's three wickets each helped India fold Bangladesh up for a measly 127 runs. In reply, Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya's quick-fire cameos handed India a very comfortable victory.

In the second T20I, India again thumped Bangladesh by 86 runs on Wednesday (October 9) in Delhi and took the series with one game to go. Youngster Nitish Reddy's sensational 74 off only 34 deliveries, along with Rinku Singh's 53 off 29 balls helped India post a gigantic total of 221. In reply, Bangladesh once again succumbed to the Indian bowlers and lost the match.
