Experienced all-rounder Imad Wasim has spoken candidly about his preparation and plans for the upcoming eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim has expressed his enthusiasm for the forthcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
In an exclusive interview, Imad praised Babar Azam's skills and also stated that he has no regrets for losing the lead in the past and is striving to perform better as a team.
The left-hander also reacted to Babar Azam's absence from the team for the eighth edition, saying: "We don't care, players come and go."
We don't regret losing the lead in the past, now that responsibility has been handed over again we will try to present a better game as a team.
It is worth noting that in the last edition, Karachi Kings won only one out of 10 games under Babar Azam's captaincy and the team failed to qualify for the playoffs.
It should be noted that under Babar Azam's captaincy, the Karachi Kings won just one game out of ten and failed to reach the playoffs in the previous edition of HBL PSL's seventh season.
Captained by Imad Wasim, the Karachi Kings won the sixth edition of the PSL and were later replaced by Babar Azam despite winning the trophy for them.
