According to Code Sports, Inglis will take Head’s spot in the middle-order at No. 5, alongside Beau Webster and Alex Carey, meaning Konstas misses out.
The 29-year-old has been around the Australia's squad for some years now, with the right-hander earning his spot off the back of a 36.41 average in first-class cricket with seven centuries.
Depending on conditions, Australia could pick three specialist spinners with Nathan Lyon to potentially partner Todd Murphy, and Matthew Kuhnemann.
“Apparently the surgeon’s done an incredible job,” Smith said of Kuhnemann. “For him to be able to field and do some of the things he’s been able to do the last couple of days, we’re kind of a bit gobsmacked.
“Either he’s a tremendous actor or he’s got great pain tolerance. He’s ticked all the boxes. He’s good to go.”

Usman Khawaja, Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith (Captain), Josh Inglis, Beau Webster, Alex Carey (Wicketkeeper), Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Scott Boland, Matt Kuhnemann.
