Ireland have dominated the day three of Bulawayo Test. They've set a massive 292-run target to Zimbabwe and eventually picked up three wickets with the new ball to leave Zimbabwe reeling on 38-3.
Ireland started superbly as they lost only one wicket in the first session as Curtis Campher and Andrew Balbirnie stitched a fine 75-run stand together to make a solid ground for the middle order. However, Zimbabwe hit back excellently and picked up several wickets in the afternoon but Ireland scored runs quickly.
Wicketkeeper batter Lorcan Tucker stood tall, scoring a crsipy 58 off 95 deliveries and helping his side, setting a massive total of 292 runs.
In reply, Zimbabwe faltered earlier on in the evening session. Opening batter Ben Curran departed after being caught behind to Barry McCarthy. T Kaitano was looking good but his timid footwork led to his dismissal for the second time in this game as Mark Adair ripped the off-stump out of the ground after running through his defence. Nick Welch, who was in sublime touch in the first innings, was the last man to depart as Humphreys trapped him LBW, that leaves Zimbabwe reeling at 38/3 by the end of day three.
Zimbabwe have 7 wickets in their hands but they need to climb a massive mountain, as they're still 254 runs behind of Ireland.
