Imrul - Nasum shine in Mohammedan's crashing victory

Mohammedan Sporting Club beat Brothers Union by 5 wickets on Friday (19th April). For Mohammedan, Nasum Ahmed and skipper Imrul Kayes were the stars behind this dominating win.
Nasum had his maiden fifer in List A Cricket, while Imrul played a captain's knock to take his side home.
Being invited to bat first, Brothers Union was skittled inside 34.3 overs. They just managed to post 135 runs on the board. Rahatul Ferdous and Mahmudul Hasan scored highest indvidual scores of 45 runs each. Jakirul Hasan Gem made 25 runs, barring them no one passed 10 mark barrier.
Nasum Ahmed had a tremendous spell and his career best spell in List A Cricket. He gave away just 22 runs and picked up 5 wickets to his name. Mehedy Hasan Miraz had 3 wickets as well.
In reply, skipper Imrul Kayes and Rony Talukder had a 66 run stand together. Rony got out on 10 runs but that didn’t bother Mohammedan despite losing some quick wickets as Imrul was playing gem of a knock there. Imrul played a magnificent innings of 92 off only 71 balls with the help of 12 fours and 3 sixes.
Mohammedan chased down the total with 5 wickets in hands and 23.2 overs to spare.
