After losing two wickets in two overs, Chattogram Challengers were under a lot of pressure. In the beginning, Shahadat Hossain Dipu handled the pressure with a cool head. Changed his style at the right time, he attacked the bowlers. He said, after being set, his thought was to prolong the innings. 

Dipu feels that if a batter gets out after scoring 20-30 runs, it is harmful for the team. Dipu said, "If a batter is set, he should carry on the innings. If he gets out after scoring -30 runs then it is a loss for the team. He understands the wicket, if he gets out it affects the team. I think when I am set I can carry it for a long time." 

Dipu was in the Asian Games team. Dipu also said that he has benefited from working with HP team coach David Hemp. 

He added, "I recently went to play in the Asian Games. We had some work with David Hemp before that, I did some work there to improve some shots. It was good for me to work there. We know T20 is a bit of an aggressive game. It's a short-ball game. It's better to make better decisions in less time.”
