Speaking about the thrilling victory, Player of the Match Mahedi Hasan said: “Hasan proved himself once again. I remember during the Ireland series, he had won us a match in the death overs. That memory came back to me, and I believed he could do it again. I don’t know if Hasan himself was confident, but I had faith he would finish the match. Alhamdulillah, Hasan bowled outstandingly in the final over.”

Reflecting on the team's mindset, Mahedi shared that the defeat in the ODI series had left the players determined to succeed in the T20Is.

"Did you think we won easily? Everything came through hard work. Everyone was hungry for victory, and that’s why we succeeded," Mahedi remarked.

He also emphasized the team's preparations and their hunger to win the series: “We finished the Test series well and started the ODI series strongly, but we couldn’t finish it on a high. Today, on Victory Day, we’ve started the T20I series with a win. We are preparing to do whatever it takes to win the series.”
