Northamptonshire County Cricket Club is thrilled to confirm Harry Conway will make four County Championship appearances for the club in May.

Australian seamer Harry Conway has agreed to play for Northamptonshire during the County Championship in May on a contract basis. Conway will feature in four Division Two matches for Wantage Road. Conway will face Leicestershire on May 2, Lancashire, Glamorgan, and Gloucestershire.

Conway was thrilled at the thought of visiting England and representing Northamptonshire. "I'm greatly looking forward to playing for a fantastic county and helping to win matches.

"The squad is bursting with young talent, and I just can't wait to play for an international-standard coach like Darren Lehmann."

Conway, a product of the Australian Under-19 side, progressed in New South Wales before eventually crossing states to join Adelaide Oval in 2022. He has a first-class tally of 119 wickets at 28.86 in 46 games.

At first-class level, Conway has claimed 119 wickets, with his career best 10/56 being against Queensland.

Head coach Darren Lehmann says Conway's joining in May will be a pick-me-up for the club and further enhance Northamptonshire's attack.

"Harry is ideal for the English conditions and will hopefully assist us in getting off to a good start," Lehmann added.

"His experience will be worth its weight in gold, particularly on the wickets that we will be playing on at the beginning of the season."
