England should not hurry Jofra Archer in the World Cup, says Eoin Morgan

As Jofra Archer continues his rehabilitation from an elbow stress fracture, Eoin Morgan deems it absurd to assume that England could airlift him into a World Cup match if they were desperate.
After being chosen the team's one travelling reserve, Archer was scheduled to accompany the squad to India a month ago. However, he was unable to make the trip. However, he chose to prolong his recovery from a stress fracture in his elbow by remaining in England. He is not expected to join the squad in Mumbai until after they have played their third game of the tournament against Afghanistan in Delhi on Sunday.
“He’s not played and we don’t know what he’s capable of. Obviously the feedback when he’s trained with the team has been that he’s back bowling beautifully, but you would like to see that in a game. Given the injury issues that he’s had in recent times I think it would be naive of anybody to think [you should] just chuck him in whenever you can,” Morgan said.
England will face Bangladesh in their second match of the ongoing ICC World Cup tomorrow in Dharamsala. They lost the first match by 9 wickets against New Zealand.
