The incident took place while England were fielding, as Topley left the field after sustaining an injury and was seen to hold of a chair and aggressively hitting it against the handrail.
Topley was found to have breached Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to 'abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an International Match' and was fined 15 percent of his match fee.
One demerit point was also added to Topley's disciplinary record.
On the other hand, West Indies' pacer Alzarri Joseph too was sanctioned by Cricket Windies after leaving the field angrily during the third ODI.
During the 4th over of the England's innings in the third ODI, Alzarri Joseph was unhappy with a field placement and he was seen having discussion with Hope. In the fourth delivery of the over, Joseph had Jordan Cox caught behind, but did not celebrate with his team, instead immediately returned to his mark.
At the end of the over, Joseph left the field without letting anyone know and went into the dressing room, which forced West Indies to start the 5th over with only ten fielders on the pitch.
However, his sanction came to end as he's back for the West Indies team for the remainder of the T20I's against England.
